I had a really cool experience today, I went to an exhibition about the history of modern computers. It was so exciting because there were some oldand you could see how they evolved over time.
The first thing that caught my eye was this huge mnframe from the 1960s. It was as big as my room! And it cost millions to build back then.
Then, I saw a small personal computer from the late 70's. It looked so tiny compared to the mnframe. The screen had a green dot matrix display and keyboard keys were like typewriter keys.
The guide explned that this was a time where computers were first being used by individuals rather than just businesses or scientific research labs.
Next, I watched an old movie about computer science pioneers in Silicon Valley during the early 80's. The exhibit also had some artifacts from famous companies like Apple and IBM.
It was quite inspiring to see how much progress we've made since then and it made me appreciate modern computers so much more. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of their history now.

Today, I enjoyed an exhilarating experience at a historical exhibition focused on the evolution of modern computing technology. The array of olddisplayed there provided a fascinating glimpse into how these computational tools have undergone transformation through time.
The first exhibit that captured my attention was a colossal mnframe from the 1960s - as expansive as my living room! Its construction cost was astronomical back then, in the millions range.
Subsequently, I encountered an petite personal computer dating back to the late 70's, which appeared minuscule compared to the aforementioned mnframe. The green dot matrix display on its screen and typewriter-like keyboard keys were characteristic of that era.
The guide elaborated upon a period when computers started being utilized by individuals rather than merely businesses or scientific research organizations.
Subsequent viewing of an archival movie about computer science pioneers in Silicon Valley during the early 80's added depth to my experience, complemented by exhibits featuring artifacts from renowned companies like Apple and IBM.
This experience was truly inspiring, offering a comprehensive insight into our progress since then and deepening my appreciation for modern computers. I now possess a richer understanding of their historical significance.
